Dice type
About this tool
Built for D&D and tabletop role-playing, the dice roller rolls the classic d20 — and the rest of the polyhedral set (d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d100) — and adds your modifier to the total. Handy for attack rolls, skill checks and saving throws when your physical dice are out of reach.
How to use it
- Choose a die (d20 by default) and how many to roll.
- Set a + or − modifier if your check needs one.
- Tap Roll to see each die and the modified total.
- Roll again for the next check.
Frequently asked questions
- Which dice can I roll?
- The full polyhedral RPG set — d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20 and d100 — one or many at a time, exactly like a physical dice set for D&D or Pathfinder.
- Does it add my modifier?
- Yes. Set any positive or negative modifier and it's added to the dice total automatically.
- Can I roll with advantage or disadvantage?
- Yes — roll two d20 at once, then take the higher result for advantage or the lower for disadvantage.
- Is the result truly random?
- Yes. Every outcome uses your browser's cryptographically secure randomness, so it is unbiased and unpredictable — just for fun.
- Can I roll multiple dice?
- Yes — roll up to ten of the selected die at once, with the modifier applied to the sum.
