Frequently asked questions
What are good Truth or Dare questions?
Good truth questions invite a story, an opinion, or a harmless confession instead of demanding private information. Good dares are quick, safe, possible in the room, and fun for the player as well as the group.
Can someone skip a truth or dare?
Yes. Every card is optional. Let players pass without a penalty or explanation, then draw a different card. The game works better when nobody has to defend a boundary.
How many people do you need?
Two people can take turns answering and doing dares. With three or more, simply pass the turn around the group.
Can you play over a video call?
Yes. Choose dares that can be done on camera, agree on a turn order, and let anyone replace a card that does not work in their space.
Is there a kid-friendly version?
Yes. The online game has a dedicated Kids category, and the lighter questions and room-friendly dares on this page are a good place to start.
