About this tool

Frequently asked questions
- Which questions work well here?
- Closed ones. "Should I take the offer?" works; "What should I do with my life?" does not — there is no yes or no in it. For open questions, use a three-card reading.
- Why does a card sometimes say 'maybe'?
- Because some cards genuinely sit in the middle. The Moon is about not seeing clearly — forcing a yes out of it would be dishonest. A 'maybe' usually means you are missing information.
- Can I ask the same question twice?
- You can, but the second answer is not more true than the first. If you are drawing repeatedly, the question is usually not the real one.
- Is this fortune telling?
- No. This is for entertainment and self-reflection. A card cannot know your future — it gives you a prompt to think with, nothing more.
